Making a good choice of where to go and what to do from a long list, or an advertisement-packed magazine, is nothing more than a gamble. Instead, I've given you a shorter list of the best places to go and best things to do, along with helpful details such as their price or price range and location.

    To keep the booklet from being exhaustive, a few things were not included. Hotel information is not included, except for those that accept pets and those directly on the beach. You can get hotel information from www.galveston.com. Cruise information is not included either, except directions to the cruise terminal. You can find cruise information directly from the cruise lines or again, on www.galveston.com. I also excluded Galveston events since they are heavily advertised and information about them is readily available elsewhere. Everything else that I could possible think of, that a visitor would want and need to know is included.
